Excerpts from William Phillpot (M.D),
Dwight K. Kalita (Ph.D)
My research work in psychiatry and
neurology, extending over a 25 year period, provides
convincing evidence of the initial organicity of major
mental illnesses. There is a continuum of brain disorders
of varying degrees depending on the extend of brain
injury. These are ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorders),
Autism, Dyslexia, Childhood Schizophrenia Tourette’s
syndrome, manic depressive disorders and so on.
There is a common starting point of all
these brain disorders. The common denominator is a viral
infection of the herpes family. These are Epstein-Barr,
CMV, and Human Herpes Virus 6. The infection has it’s
inception in early childhood before the brain has reached
its maturity in late adolescence. The infection is
progressive and can start from a minor brain disorder in
childhood and end up in the late adolescence as a major
psychosis. Antibody has revealed that these viral
infections are chronic and fluctuating.
The other common denominator is gluten. It
is the most frequent and severe symptom reactor of all
foods. Thus, gluten is the most likely substance to
continue evoking symptoms in Tourette’s Syndrome (jerking
of muscles) and headache, emotional phobias, mild
depression, obsession to more severe cases such as
psychotic depression, hallucinations and delusions.
